That's the truth right there.

Edit: It's clear to show that we are hypocrites.

I doubt it, but I wouldn't blame him if he did.

Wait so, why did people hate TP?

I mean, I was disappointed that some of the things in the screenshots released weren't in it, etc, but I don't dislike it. In fact, it's high up there on my Zelda list.

Why the haters?

People hated TP because they believe there was no plot in the game and that it didn't fit in the series.

That's... that's not why people hate TP at all, what are you talking about?

I cordially invite you to gtfo.

It wasn't bad, I just didn't like how linear it was, killed the replay value.

Hmm not fitting in the series makes sense but I don't know about it not having a plot. I think it had a goo plot, with the whole Twilight Realm being the banished Gerudos and everything.

I agree with it being linear, but how was, for example, OoT any less linear?

OoT? You could sequence break just about everything once you cleared the Deku Tree. Ever heard of the Uber challenge? First thing you do is get the golden scale from the fishing pond and go to Jabu Jabu's belly without a bottle by jumpslashing off the fence beside him.

In TP, until you cleared the twilight zones there was very little room for backtracking or sidequests or whatever. It only really opened up a long way into the game. Compare it to the Wind Waker where you were free to go where you wanted after Forest Haven, ignoring item constraints of course.

I don't think that counts as being nonlinear.

Well... Even without that, you were never fenced into an area and forced to collect a bunch of light orbs. I dunno, I guess with TP I just felt like I was being told to go somewhere right now no questions asked with absolutely no room for detours (At least until around Lakebed temple). Never really got that feeling with other games in the series.

But there was a plot, and it does fit in the series, in regards to both story and gameplay.

*shrugs* Well the people who think it has no plot are dumb. (I like the game and there is a plot)
