Please put topics in the appropriate forums. Also, your username is a little inappropriate.

That said, welcome to ZI, and yes, we're all very excited for Skyward Sword!

Heh, I think it was the unfamiliar username that caught my eye.

By the way, "f u", if you don't know anything about Skyward Sword's backstory, you can check out what we know on the main site's update on the front page. I'm working on getting an entire section devoted to Skyward Sword up as well.

Personally I'm fine with it being Cel-shaded. Look at WW, it was cel-shaded but it was an extremely good game and still is.

I wasn't the biggest fan of WW, (not for the cel shading, but for it's cartoon fell) it wasn't horrible though. I think that the cel shading to SS may just be temperary graphics, or each level could have a different theme and graphic style, or it's just cel shading, either way, I'm getting the game.

But WW had a reason for being so cartoonish. It was an attempt by Nintendo to introduce the Zelda series to a younger generation of kids, yet at the same time keeping older zelda fans entertained.

SS graphics are going to be cel shaded, its not temporary.

I like it; it gives the game a brighter feel without taking away from the look. It reminds me of watercolor paintings, which iirc is kinda the point.

Besides, the reason TP was dark was because it was about the Twilight Realm, its people, and what would happen if the two realms met. SS is the story of the Master Sword, the sword of light, not darkness. If the graphics were dark it would take away from the artistic side of the legend.

The puffy pants were a great addition.
