Wasn't it only on TP that you had to bomb the Stalfos? I'm pretty sure you didn't have to do it in OoT and MM and PH (not that the ones in PH was really a threat...)...

You're missing TWW there, which actually started the trend.

I left out WW coz I wasn't sure. Uhmmm. Which ones were the Stalfos in WW? The really big tall ones with the massive metal clubs?

Yep. They used one of two of them as mini-bosses in the Earth Temple.

I'm not sure, but didn't you have to bomb them in LttP also? Not that there were many.

Whoops, yeah, I do. That's pretty poor of me to forget. XD
In any case, clearly Twilight Princess was not the first game to sport the feature.

Update: I was unsure whether it was a strange looking mushroom or an enemy, but it seems it is, in fact, a Gel. Appropriately added to the index.

Wait... I always kill them by just slicing their heads and and murdering the heads. You don't have to bomb them...

You don't have to, but if you bomb the body the head goes flying. Then just boomerang it and it's some easy shots.

The ones you have to bomb are the Stalfos knights, like the ones in the Ice Temple in LttP.

The Stalfos looks pretty boss in this game. I like that scorpion-thing, too.

Also, the Gel image is no longer working and that thing could still totally be a Deku Scrub, because these "tentacles" you mentioned could actually be roots. (I haven't seen the trailer yet, and I haven't anywhere to really go to see it, anyhow, so I really can't compare)

Miyamoto called them Octoroks, dude. 'Nuff said. Also, even IF they were roots, which they aren't, six "roots" do not equal two feet.

Edit- here.

...And yet you attack others for contributing to a topic...

Anyway, another point to add to the Octorok argument, and I'll add this to the entry on page one, is that it's definitely not made of wood, which basically confirms that it isn't a Scrub.

Hey, they were having an argument and you just randomly pop in with something pretty damn lame. <_<;
Would you like it if you were having an argument people just randomly pop in and try to say something funny but is actually lame?
