What genres of music would you like to have in the new Zelda game? Any songs? Come with suggestions.
Personally i would like som jazz music just for the laughs. Like Shamar Arid Sands Night from Sonic Unleashed. :lol:

I was listening to the soundtrack from Wind Waker the other day, and I noticed how all the bosses' music sound like techno/dance partially done with medieval instruments. They're more energetic sounding than overtly 'epic' like most of the other Zelda bosses. I like that about them, and I'd love to see a return of that.

Absolutely more orchestral like in TP.

I'd like a more melancholy feel though, like in MM.

I liked the Flute Feel to ST. But I don't think it'll fit into New Wii Zelda.

All of the music should be orchestral. No more of this MIDI foolishness. Or at the very least, not entirely midi.

Nintendo did it with Brawl and SMG, so there's no reason not to do it with Zelda as well.

TP had some of the best music, except that the actual dungeon themes were virtually non-existent. In the Water Temple, I didn't realize for about half an hour that there was music playing.

Otherwise, GIVE ME MORE EPIC TP STYLE HELLZ YES

Oh, and WW was good too. Dragon Roost Island = <3

WW had a VERY original score. It's one of the reasons I loved it so much; individual areas, battles and scenes had specific music--and great music to boot. A lush mix of styles I greatly enjoyed.

Honestly, as long as Zelda's music stays interesting and does well to be unique to each of its games I will be happy.

Agreed. WW definitely had some great new themes going on. I wouldn'd mind some better remixes of the old stuff (orchestral though!!) but some new themes for specific places would be great. I'll say it again though, I'd like a more melancholy feel.

TP was supposed to be darker than previous games and yet I still think that MM music was sadder. TP wasn't that dark...

The music in MM just fit perfectly with the area. Great bay and Stone tower temple themes were perfect because they reflected the mood of the place. Same with Pirate's fortress, Ikana canyon, Deku palace, clock town, Terminia Field, pretty much everywhere really.

With TP you could easily shuffle the songs around and it would work, the boss themes are practically interchangable. When I was fighting Argorok I was convinced they had re-used the Morpheel battle theme. The songs were good, but they didn't reflect atmosphere of the situation is what I'm trying to say (I think).

As for what I'd like to see.... A good variation in boss themes, temple themes that are memorable and atmospheric and a good mix between happier songs and dark and creepy stuff.

Well what about the ST boss battles?
Stagnox = Own theme.
Fraaz = Own theme.
Great Eye thingy in the dark = Own theme.
Approaching Phytops = Great Eye thingy's theme.
Phytops = Stagnox's theme.
Cragma = Fraaz's theme.
Skeldritch = Stagnox's theme.
Cheap much?

Good points, I agree the mood should be reflected more. I love MM and WW's music so much because of that.

I would like for them to implememt some kind of " dynamic " music when your fighting bosses.

It would be normal when you enter, but if your health goes to critical levels, the music becomes a more urgent version of the bosses theme. If your health gets better ( Fairys, red potions ) and the bosses get lower than half, the music be comes more upbeat version of the boss theme.

Ohmigosh I love this idea. It would be so great to have everything be more interactive like this... The surroundings work off of what you do. Epic.

That was something I really liked about TP. Whenever you were attacking the boss that little fanfare would play and it just felt epic.
