...Except driving the train is retardedly boring once the novelty of it wears off. For me it was about the time I beat the Ice Temple or whatever, at which point FGSFDS. It didn't help that the warps were in specific spots instead of being able to warp whenever you wanted.

Other than that though, it was a fantastic game in all aspects. The story was still a bit on the kiddie side (What can you expect these days though), but stuff like dungeons, boss fights and music were amazing. The Sand Temple and Fire temple in particular were awesome.

I loved driving the train so much that I made a new game just so I could drive the train more.

The stylus controls really made me crazy sometimes. I miss just hitting a button. You'd never screw up swinging your sword when it involved tapping a button. It was a REAL problem during the final battle. >_> It was okay with TP because the swinging of the Wii Remote did nothing BUT swing the sword, but with the stylus, how you use it changes what happens, and if you screwed it up, you are sure to lose health.

Not to mention it's really problematic when it comes to using items in a hurry. Tap the corner to take the thing out, use the stylus to use the weapon, then tap the corner again to put it away. When you're not under pressure, this system works fine, but if you're surrounded and the baddies are closing in, SO often I would miss-tap and Link wouldn't put the damn weapon away so that he could run away from the line of fire. Instead, he'd remain rooted in place and get hit. Nice.

The train was cool at first, but I found it restricting after a while. I kinda miss the fully-explorable overworld.

And death to those invincible demon trains.

Also, Linebeck sucks. THERE I SAID IT.

But these are fairly minor complaints, I guess. In the big picture, it was definitely a fun game. Zelda was cool, music was used nicely, and the dungeons and bosses were cool.

You can hold the shoulder buttons to use items. Makes it so much easier. I never had much trouble with the stylus controls, apart from in the battle with Staven, controlling Zelda and Link at the fast pace really got me.

Yeah, I only ever used the shoulder buttons for items. Tapping that little icon all the time would have been a pain.

Wow, I had no idea you could use the shoulder buttons. @_@

And who the hell is Staven?

Edit- Oh, yeah, Byrne. Gosh darn Ireland and your name changes.

I never had a problem with attacking with the Stylus. I had more problems with rolling.
Also, I've ALWAYS used the L button for items.

Same here, drawing "little circles" was a lot easier since all I had to really do was hold the stylus at the edge of the screen and move it back and forth real quick. Tapping twice makes me lose my rhythm, and slows me down. And if there was an enemy in the way, I'd end up slashing at it instead.

Because they realised that Staven is a much better name than Byrne.
There usually is now anyway. Advance wars Days of Ruin/ Dark conflict was completely changed, Will=Ed O'Brian=Brenner. Seems pretty pointless to me.

I tried playing Phantom Hourglass again the other day, and the rolling system made it absolutely unplayable for me. I couldn't do a single roll on command, and it ruined it for me. Give me my double tap plz.

I got to thinking, how big do you make the circles?
I make mine real tiny-like, so it never really registers as a slash. Just saying.

But the names in the US version ARE cool... and an extra is the Train Pun!
