Compared to some Zeldas (WW comes to mind), did the final strike on the final boss seem more realistic then other last hits on other final bosses? WW Link did some crazy acrobatics to stab the guy's face, OoT had some two swipe one stab combo, but ST's last blow was just some kid who barely had the strength to hold back the last boss until Zelda came to help him. Even then they both barely had the power to push the sword far enough in to break the crystal on the guy's forehead. It just seems kind of surreal to me, I guess.
Keep in mind I haven't played some Zeldas, so there might be others that felt realistic as well that I missed.

There's differences behind those links and the one in ST, though. In Wind Waker, for instance, Link was taught how to do those sorts of moves by Orca. In OoT, Link had been using a blade for a significant amount of time by the time he dealt the coup de grace.

Same with TP Link and the Hero's Shade. Spirit Tracks Link essentially had to learn to wield a blade well on his own.

Since I'm not very worried about spoilers, that's good to know that the last boss actually takes a final blow by default and not through some sequence like in TWW and TP. Though I do admit that OoT did that, but there was a time when a number of hits made Ganon fall. I know Ganondorf isn't the last boss just in case I might have made it seem that way. Anyway, I'm currently trying to find the Sand Temple.

Well...
If you don't rub hard enough when Link and Malladus clash, then you have to shoot him again and repeat untill you rub hard enough to beat him.
