Online Manga hosting site, Onemanga is closing down. T_T

I mean, I almost never use it, but... Onemanga's where I go for everything when I'm in a manga mood.

Yeahhh, some laws where they are based changed and Onemanga decided that they'd follow it. So by next week, there will be no Manga on there. T_T

This is happening a lot of places, Mangahelpers where I got all my HunterxHunter downloads doesn't supply manga anymore either.

Oh crap... That means MangaFox is probably gonna go too. And Manga Haven. Coz I just bookmarked them to replace Onemanga. >_<

I don't think Mangafox is particularly concerned about general laws like that. I've only ever seen them take things down at the request of the author/licenser.

I go to Spectrum Nexus. I guess it's not too bad.

Spectrum is like the only place that has manga like Berserk, which was taken down from pretty much every other place, so they probably don't give a crap. I dunno, I like buying the actual books anyway. >_>

Well you can't say you didn't see this coming. Considering how popular the site is, and the fact that majority of the manga is "stolen" it was only a matter of time before it closed down.

Anyways, wouldn't the manga that ZI hosts be subject to these new laws as well?

There was no new law, just a new stance on the same law by manga publishers.

I heard about it closing down. I'm really bummed 'cuz that's the only site I can find all of the Detective Conan on....

I used it a lot for that and the Zelda series by Akira Himekawa.

... You do know that most of Himekawa's Zelda manga is on this very site, don't you? Unless you're meaning the more recent manga that nobody here ever got around to translating due to having lives.

Well I do know that 9panels has Detective Conan up until 742... So... Yeah.

Yeah, it is the most recent stuff. I've read all the others.

I haven't gone to many sites, as my computer is really freaky. It gets viruses just by clicking wrong.
