Started watching Full Metal Alchemist yesterday. I can't believe I waited this long, this is like the only mainstream animu that manages to be pretty much $#%@. But then, Squeenix animu is usually great, so I guess I needn't have worried.

I really wasn't expecting them to do the young teenage protagonist thing, but I'm mostly watching to see what happened to Hei and all the old characters. Hei hitting the bottle could totally serve as it's own story line. Although now that he's lost his contractor powers I'm sure he's just going to be a secondary character.

Huge improvement from the mediocrity of the first season.
