Alright, so if you were one of the people who successfully collected every mask by the end of the game and received the Fierce Deity mask, used it in the final battle the first or next twenty times, did you think it was too easy to beat?

Yeah it was pretty easy with the Fierce Deity's Mask. But that's kind of the reward you get for going through all that work.

Fierce deity mask was rediculously overpowered. But without it the fight was fairly challenging.
I hated those mini dungeons inside the moon, especially the twinmold one.

Yeah, I agree with HT. Getting all powered up and badass is your reward for completing the side quests.

Most people don't have every mask when they get to the end the first time, so the fight is a lot more challenging.

I had all but the damned Couple's Mask. I followed the walkthru and things still weren't happening the way they were supposed to.

I'm not sure if you're still having trouble, but there's a guide to getting all the masks on the Z-I site.

http://www.zelda-infinite.com/games/zelda6/masks.php

Everything's correct, I've gone through the whole thing to make sure it's correct (since I got it from Nintendo Power and I don't entirely trust Nintendo Power).

Oh yeah, I have like five old guides from them that have bits of BS in them. The Zelda Collector's Edition guide (the GCN disk with LoZ, AoL, OoT, and MM on it) is the worst though.

People bash Prima, but really they're a lot more reliable, I've found.

The couples mask was actually pretty fun to get. It was, of course, the last one I got (besides the FD) because it was the longest side story in the game.

I think Prima's pretty reliable, I've used a couple of their guides after I've beaten the game at least once. Sometimes the context can be confusing, but for the most part, it's good.

Yeah the Collector's Edition guide is the one I took that mask guide from. You might be able to tell by cross-referencing, I had to fix a few errors in the mask guide. >_>;

But the whole thing was just full of $#%@. I tried to use it for some things in LoZ and AoL and it only made me more lost.

Getting all the masks and completing the game 100% is my favorite memory of this game. I remember staying in the basement at my 2nd cousin's while my mom cleaned the house, and I played it on one of those little 16" TV's.

What pissed me off was that I needed one more heart-piece to collect. But because you have to reset time, the characters go back into position. I probably should've had a checklist because it's mocking to see that one quarter missing from your health before getting 100%.

That game's full of mockery. Back when I hadn't beat the game a couple years ago, I was stuck in the Great Bay temple, trying to get I don't know what. But the game just sat there and mocked me. It pissed me off.
